Why the Audacious Institute?

The Audacious Institute: Creating purpose-driven leaders who are ready for the challenges life throws at them!

To inspire youth to pursue meaningful work and to better prepare them for 21st century jobs, the Audacious Institute brings the entrepreneurial mindset and project-based learning to middle and high school students. The Audacious Institute is a bold, new approach to learning and success. We teach entrepreneurship, design thinking, and social impact and champion the mantra: “fail fast, fail early, and fail often.”

Design Thinking

Utilizing a rigorous curriculum inspired by Stanford University’s d.School, the design firm IDEO, and Lean Startup principles, students tackle real-world challenges and design actionable solutions.

Innovation

Through authentic projects with local organizations, students build empathy for real customers, showcase their creative minds, and engage with multi-disciplinary experts to uncover disruptive innovations.

Mentorship

Each session features local entrepreneurs and change-makers who have incredible stories to share. Our mentors not only coach students on their projects, but also offer career advice.
